Welcome to our place! We are Bob and Gayla Roberts at the Always Enough Ranch in Acampo, located in the beautiful central valley of California. Our lifelong involvement with livestock has led us to Boer Goats. While we had a mixed commercial herd of goats for land clearing and meat wethers, in 2000 we bought our first Full Blood Boer buck and saw what an improvement he made to our herd. We then expanded our ideas of what we wanted and bought a few Full Blood does. We went to shows and aimed our goals higher. In 2001, we were fortunate to buy Pistol, a Colt 45 son who left his stamp of class on our herd. We have just added NDR Dakota, bred by the Ansettas at Never Done Ranch, and Hardyred Riding Hood, bred by Lamar Brown. Riding Hood was already bred to Dakota and is shown with her 3 doelings at 5 days old. We are looking forward to Dakota's kids out of some of our Pistol girls in 5 months! Our goals are to breed goats with excellent confirmation, good temperament and perhaps a little color. Last year we had 6 wethers go to 4H shows and took a second, 2 firsts, 2 reserves, and a grand champion. We are happy with the results of our first year of showing! Please feel free to call or email us if you have any questions or would like to visit. We'd be pleased to show you around! (209) 367-4145 22719 Sowles Rd.
